A method, a frame, a horizon

Therapy with a map on the table.

We name the problem, agree a way of working, and review progress at fixed points. You always know where you are, what comes next, and how many sessions the road usually takes.

The method, step by step

How the work is structured

01

Assessment session

We map what brings you, what you have tried, and whether my method fits. If it does not, I say so and refer you.

02

A written plan

Goals in your words, a typical number of sessions, and how we will know it is working.

03

The sessions

Each session has a stated length, one focus each time, and something concrete to try between two sessions.

04

Review points

Every four sessions we measure against the plan. We adjust, continue, or stop, your call, with clear information.

Who holds the frame

Trained, certified, supervised

A method is only as good as the training behind it. Mine is verifiable: certifications listed below, supervision every month, and continuing education every year, because the frame holds me too.

  • Certified practitioner, diploma on the waiting-room wall
  • Monthly supervision with a senior colleague
  • Continuing education, forty hours a year
  • Code of ethics, and what I do not treat, said plainly

Questions with straight answers

How many sessions will I need?

Most people come between three and eight times, spaced two to three weeks apart. We review together every few sessions, and stopping is always a decision you own, there are no packages to finish and no subscriptions.

Are sessions reimbursed?

National health insurance does not cover this type of session. Many private health plans do reimburse part of the cost under well-being or prevention benefits, check your plan, and I will give you a dated receipt after every session to send in.

What happens during the first session?

Mostly, we talk: what brings you, what you have already tried, what you want to change. We usually end with one short practical exercise so you feel what the work is like. You leave with a clear proposal (number of sessions, rhythm, price) and no obligation to continue.

Is this a replacement for medical care?

No, and it is never presented as one. These sessions complement medical care: I will never suggest stopping a treatment or skipping a consultation, and when something you describe calls for a doctor, I say so plainly.

Should I choose in person or online?

The structure is identical and so is the price. In person suits body-focused work and first meetings; video works remarkably well for sleep and stress sessions, from the home where your evenings actually happen. Many people alternate, pick whichever removes the most friction this week.

What if I need to cancel?

Life happens. Cancel or move your appointment up to 24 hours ahead at no charge, a text message is enough. Appointments cancelled at the last minute are charged, because that hour was held for you.
